Bios Recovery Aspire 4720z

Hi,

The upgrade process of Bios failed at half. Now my laptop is not booting. I tried many suggestions for using 'wincrisis', but all failed. The USB disk flashes for a while and then blinks. The power LED continues to blink for ever. A proper way to revover the bios will be highly appreciated.

What version number did you have? What upgrade version number did you try to flash to? What issues did you have that led you to try flashing the bios?

Thanks for the response.

Actually I was updating all drivers. Along with that I tried the Bios also. The version I tried was Z013810.whp. I have a backup of originall, but I don't know the version. It is different because the checksum are different.

I see only one bios version listed for your unit. I suggest going back to the original if possible.

But the process is not running. On power on it is accessing the USB and then stops. Not flashing the BIOS
