Intermittent battery light in Aspire M5 583p 9688

Hi All,

My name is Jonathan and I have just purchased an Acer Aspire M5 583p 9688. I have read the user's manual but I can't realize what is going on. The thing is that sometimes when the AC conector is unplugged, the battery light blinks in amber color. Does any body know why?

I'm not sure Jonathan. Does the battery hold a charge, and work properly? Maybe it blinks when it goes below a certain threshold. Someone else might have a better answer.

You have two LEDs on the front right.
They indicate:

Left LED:
Off (System is Off)
Steady Blue (System is On)
Flashing Amber (S3 state - Laptop is sleeping)

Right LED:
Flashing Amber (Battery low)
Steady Amber (Battery is charging)
Blue (Battery is fully charged)
