Laptop does not start/on

Hi, I have a acer aspire 5520 with the following problem: when I start him take fan rotate the battery light comes on, but also nothing. He continues then just restart and should I remove the battery to stop this. Anyone have an idea what this could be?

How does the computer operate when you remove the battery and only use it with the AC adapter? If the problem persists it may be hardware related and need repair.

It seems i have the same problem whith my aspire 5520g, namely, when i press the power button it powers on but nothing appears on the screen nor are there any POST beeps, rather the laptop gets stuck in a reboot loop, restarting every couple of seconds until i pull the power cord out of the power socket or if its on battery, until i take the battery out.

Does anyone have any idea of the nature of the problem and how to fix it?
