Hi there, My acer aspire 5750-6667 refuses to re-boot after I complied by windows 7 software update yesterday! I tried every trick in the world.. I have saved the discovery disc (set of 3 that I made) when I purchased the laptop from Costco.. I have used F2 to change the boot sequence to boot from DVD .. On reboot (wtih disk 1 in), it goes to eRecovery system screen and get stuck at 'Please Wait for a Moment...' Nothing ever happens.. My computer warranty just expired 2 months ago (darn!).. Will Acer do anything to help? Ats

Hi ats

Have you tried using the built in recovery partition? Press ALT & tap F10 as soon as you see the Acer screen when you switch on.

Also, have you tried to boot from Safe Mode?

Mine is doing the same thing. Erecovery starts, and just says wait a moment and freezes. There is a green and white screen, but there is nothing in it to click. It never goes any farther. There was no recovery partition on this Laptop, so I bought the recovery discs from Acer, and STILL nothing. Please help, somebody. Tech support with not even Echat because it is over a year old.
