No sound on TV through HDMI on aspire 5750G

I cannot get sound from my TV when I connect to it with an HDMI Cable. When I check my system information itdoes not mention the HDMI Port. I recently had to format my hard drive and I reloaded with Windows 7 Professional. Would I have to install some sort of extra sound driver for the HDMI Port. I get the picture perfectly its just there is no sound. I would be glad of some help.

You must install the realtek audio driver available in Acer support. and other important driver since you have upgraded the system.
