Hey guys I've been everywhere on the net for 2 days trying to get my aspire working. I installed xp because 7 was just too slow for me and I like xp. Well my device manager says that the Ethernet controller, network controller, PCI device, video controller, and video controller (VGA comparable) are missing drivers. I've looked everywhere and even tried every disk in the house that might have something comparable but nothing is working. Can anyone help me make this work please?

Thank you so much. I'll give it a try. I kinda like this little netbook. It would be nice to have it working.

In the end vvprad I opted to reinstall a clean copy of win7. Xp is on its way out I guess I've got to face it. This install is a lot faster then the factory install. I'm guessing because I have none of the bloatware and probably missing some Acer hardware programs.

Thanks for your response. I might still put a copy of xp on my other partition still though
