    <description>&lt;P&gt;Found some..... Well.. Over heating is A well known problem for my model of laptop. And my laptop is leaning at the tip the average life span of a normal laptop. So I have decided to clean it myself occasionally. Through some people have suggested on the forum about making holes on the hull... I am not sure where to... Well...       <description>&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT color="#000000"&gt;hi...&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT color="#000000"&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;DIV&gt;&lt;FONT color="#000000" face="Book Antiqua"&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;First you may check if the internal fan is running.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;DIV&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT color="#000000"&gt;Over time dust can build up in the computer’s air vents causing air and heat to not pass through them effectively.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;Using compressed air to clear the vents of dust can help resolve an overheating issue.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;Be sure to use compressed air according to the instructions on the can.&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT color="#000000"&gt;To avoid excessive heat building up in the computer you should always use it on a hard, flat, non-cloth surface.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;Using the computer on a blanket, pillow, or other cloth surface can block important heat vents.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;It is advised to use the computer in an environment no hotter than 95°F.&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;DIV&gt;&lt;FONT face="Book Antiqua" size="2" color="#000000"&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;I suggest you to perform a power reset.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;DIV&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;DIV&gt;&lt;FONT size="2" face="Book Antiqua" color="#000000"&gt;To perform a &lt;EM&gt;power&lt;/EM&gt; &lt;EM&gt;reset&lt;/EM&gt;:&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;OL&gt;&lt;LI&gt;&lt;FONT size="2" face="Book Antiqua" color="#000000"&gt;Unplug the AC adapter from your notebook.&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;&lt;FONT size="2" face="Book Antiqua" color="#000000"&gt;Turn the notebook over to remove the battery. Turn the notebook back over and open it.&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;&lt;FONT size="2" face="Book Antiqua" color="#000000"&gt;Hold down the &lt;EM&gt;power&lt;/EM&gt; button for 30 seconds, then release the &lt;EM&gt;power&lt;/EM&gt; button.&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;&lt;FONT size="2" face="Book Antiqua" color="#000000"&gt;Turn the notebook back over and slide the battery back into place.&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;&lt;FONT size="2" face="Book Antiqua" color="#000000"&gt;Slide the lock tab back into the lock position.&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;&lt;FONT size="2" face="Book Antiqua" color="#000000"&gt;Turn over the notebook one last time and plug in your AC adapter.&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;&lt;FONT size="2" face="Book Antiqua" color="#000000"&gt;Turn on your notebook.&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;/OL&gt;&lt;DIV&gt;&lt;FONT color="#000000"&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;&lt;FONT face="Book Antiqua"&gt;You may also reset BIOS to default settings. This will not affect any data stored on your computer.&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;DIV&gt;&lt;FONT size="2" color="#000000"&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;&lt;SPAN style="line-height: 115%; color: black; font-size: 9pt;"&gt;&lt;FONT face="Book Antiqua"&gt;Restart the computer and then keep tapping F2 key to enter BIOS.&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;DIV&gt;&lt;FONT size="2" color="#000000"&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;&lt;FONT face="Book Antiqua"&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;T&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;ap &lt;/SPAN&gt;the F2 key as soon as you restart the computer since windows 8 loads too fast.&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;DIV&gt;&lt;FONT size="2" color="#000000"&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;&lt;FONT face="Book Antiqua"&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;After entering BIOS screen,&amp;nbsp;&lt;/SPAN&gt;press the F9 key and then select "Yes" to&amp;nbsp;&lt;SPAN&gt;load default and &lt;/SPAN&gt;save the configuration.&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;DIV&gt;&lt;FONT face="Book Antiqua" color="#000000"&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Then &lt;/SPAN&gt;press the F10 key and select "Yes" to save the changes in BIOS. &lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;DIV&gt;&lt;FONT size="2" color="#000000"&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;&lt;SPAN style="line-height: 115%; color: black; font-size: 9pt;"&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;&lt;FONT face="Book Antiqua"&gt;The computer would restart automatically.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/DIV&gt;</description>
