Liquid E2 duo - charging via USB cable ?

Hello,

I noticed (loading my music files from PC to Acer Liquid via the USB-cable) that the batterie charges as soon as the USB-cable is connected. Is this a secure, i.e. intended use ? Manual doesn't seem to have a opinion about this.

Pretty certain this is normal with all phones.
