If it is a desktop, you probably have to use Delete key to access BIOS. F2 is the entry key for notebooks.

I need serious help....

I bought my laptop last september and about 6 months later my computer startedbarely connecting to my FIbreOp, i also noticedthat when i went any where farther then 5 feet away from my wirelss i lost internet all together. Then my 6, 8 and 9 keys stopped working.

I let it go for a while and a few nights ago, i decided to use the inhouse computer option to wipe everything and start fresh (not from usb or dvd) and when it came back afterthe 2 hour wait, it wouldnt download updates and my computer had limited conectivity (let all call it, limited means, none) Prior to choosing the wipe option i created a windown recovery usb just incase, i tried rebooting and using f2 to open the options to use my key and it asks me what i want to do (i clicl efi usb) and what language i want (english) then it restarts like normal, and asks me it all over again. After 12 or so times trying to get the thing to open the actual menu i got a windows 8.1 dvd and though, ok, maybe its the USB, and i should use the dvd, now F2 wont open at all.

My BF said, try F12, But aparently with acers f12 wont boot unless you enable it, and you have to enable it in the f2 menu....

Im about to pull my hair out or throw the coimputer off my roof. I think the thing is probably not worth the time...

Oh, and to top it off, Acer help said that im passed my warrenty even though i bought it in September, they say its registered for august in the US, But i bought it in canada... Yup, thats my luck....
