Open chassis on Aspire M5630

My old Aspire M5630 will not longer start so I have bought me a new Aspire X. So long so good.

But the disks in my old Aspire M5630 are still goos . I hope. I have tried to open the chassis but I can't figure out how to lift off the hood after moving the screws on the backside.

Anyone who can help? May be witj a figure??

Hi,

You have a lock down.

You push it down.

The cover slides back.

Thnx for your answer, but I have now came a bit longer. I have found two disks but can't figure out how to release them. They have å green plastic lock outside the grid and nothing on the other side. But some sort of metal on top of each of the disks.

Last time I did this kind of work (many years ago) they were fastened to the grid with two screws on each side.

Just slide on the backside to release the disk (green lock).
