I have an M3970G-UW10P desktop. I want to upgrade the video card. I have already upgraded to Windows 8 Pro with Media Center. What type/brand of cards will work? What type of slots are available in my PC? Nothing too fancy, just better than what came with it.

Hi

You have 1 x PCI Express x16 Slot on your Mainboard, so you should be able to get a good PCI Express card in there.. watch out some of them are pretty big and you may have trouble fitting them in the chasis! Also, some need extra Power Supplys that your PSU may not have so watch out for that as well!

I don't know what you have in there at the moment but the HD 7750 will fit and requires no external power from your PSU so should be a straight swap for your current card.
