Ok, I just forced the metal mesh out. But now I can't get the drive into the cage.... I removed the power supply but the drive can't be installed from that side because the faceplate on the drive is too big. That means that this drive must be inserted from the front of the PC....

How does one remove the front cover of the G3620 to gain access to the DVD drive slot?

Thanks.

I need to install a dvd drive for my G3620 in the second drive bay. There is a metal mesh (just behind the door on the case front) that must be removed to open up the bay. Is there a trick to removing the metal mesh? Do i just force it out, or is there and easy (safe) way? I don't want to break anything.

Thanks for your help!

I figured out how to do this. I created a procedure in including pictures at the following youtube location:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c2NyGgwkVOA&feature=youtu.be
