The HDD is located in a bay on the underside of the computer, right below the touchpad for the V3-571G. Opening this bay does not void your warranty (breaking something inside, would not be covered howerver). The HDD is on the left side. It should be contained with some screws in a bay, but based on your symptoms, it may be a good idea to reseat the HDD. If you continue to have trouble, I would suggest trying a restore just to see if it helps, and then contact your local service team for options on getting the HDD replaced.

I've had my Acer Aspire V3-571G-9686 for about a month now. It worked extremely well throughout the first month of use, but now I keep getting random no bootable device errors and I just got a glitched out blue screen of death. I think it might be a loose hard drive issue. I'd like to open it up to check, but that will probably void my warranty (if I have one). Is this a known issue with this model? Does anyone have any insight on this? It would be greatly appreciated.
