new to forum - need help with a restore - windows won't install

Have an Aspire 5334-2737 and had to do a restore with backup to the C drive. However with the restore - its tellin gme now that windows could not be installed. I don't have the original CDs from this laptop - obviously it is a good 4 years old. But - I would like to save this, Is there a way to download a windows install to a flash drive and install it on the Acer - is it the laptop doomed? It keeps trying to go back and re-install - but it isn't working. So the laptop is in a constant flux. Help?

Hi Denastar,

1) You can order Recovery Media from Acer Store , If your laptop was come with Preinstalled Windows 7

http://store.acer.com/store/aceramer/en_US/eRecovery ( Please note that you need to select your laptop purchased regan If you didn't purchase it from US ) . You need external USB DVD writer to do the installation.

2) Second option is you have to install windows 7 O/S , Drivers and other applications one by one.

For some reason it isn't accepting the SNID or Serial number - lol.. Urgh
