LAN connection drops in Windows 8.1

Hello!

I purchased an Acer Aspire M3-581T Ultrabook with Windows 8.

Everything worked fine until Windows 8.1 upgrade. Now my LAN connection drops every once in a while and I have a 'limited LAN' message. Tried downloading and installing the Atheros driver from Acer website, however, it did not help. WLAN works fine.

Can someone please help?

Hi,

This may happen due to plower management conflict. (If your lan deriver installed)

1. Go to the Device manager > Select LAN device > right click> Properties

2. Select " Power Management"

3 Untick " Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power."

4. Click "OK"
