w700 - Acer Ring and bluetooth questions ??

Hi everybody ,

i bought a w700-6407

and i installed a genuine win 8 pro i own on it , there is no acer ring, i didn't really test it before installing the win 8 pro, so is there an acer ring software to install ?? or i have to do the recovery and return to win 8 and it will be working there ??

also one more thing , after i installed win 8 pro, there was no bluetooth so i installed all the drivers, now the bluetooth is working, but i have 2 questions :

first i can either close bluetooth and wifi by airplane mode , or i can turn off wifi while bluetooth is on , but i cant seem to turn off bluetooth and leave the wifi on ??

second, on the acer fast lane utility i cant seem to find the options for wifi on/off and bluetooth on/off ??

any help appreciated

You can switch both from Settings charm > Change PC Settings > Wireless. In Windows 8.1 you can switch off the wifi from within the Settings charm, however there is no solution for bluetooth yet.

In my opinion, just leave both on, they dont consume too much battery as long as there is no device connected

PC Settings, Bluetooth settings lets you turn on an off bluetooth separately from Wifi.

I don't believe there is a download for Acer Ring, you have to use the restore media to get it. :-(
