Hi, you need ExpressCache v1.0.82.

The license is tied to your hardware so you will need to obtain a copy from Acer themselves, unfortunately they do not supply it.

ASUS provides a copy of ExpressCache for their products but it is unusable on Acer machines because of licensing. Right now I am at a loss as to what to do other than just talk about it on forums hoping Acer will help their customers.

Hey Guys i really need a great deal of help here. My friend bought a Aspire M5-581T untrabook from the states while travelling with international warranty. And after a month the Win 8 OS just hung, it wasnt loading any apps or any thing. He took it to a Service Center in Mumbai and they told him that they would format the laptop but it would be a pirated version.

So i helped him install it myself.

The problem here the 20gb SSD that came along with it, needs to be used as cache and i've tried Using softwares like Intel RST, but it doesnt show any accelerate option to enable the ssd cache. Since this is Acer, the boot meny has no option to set Raid or anything like that. Hence i needed to know exactly what is needed to be dont to make sure the SSD is utilized and doesnt sit there idle. And yes Windows 8 is installed on the 500gb HDD while the 20gb SSD is just left as unallocated drive.

Hope for some help on this, any and every suggestions would helpful

P.S. Wouldnt mind re-installing windows 8 again just to enable the cache

Thanks !!
