You can change the resolution down to 640 x 800 if you want

It prefer it at 1080p but you can chage it down to whatever resolution you want. Might be worth going to a shop and seeing what 1368x710 looks like on a 11.6 screen first if you can even if its not an acer one they will behave the same as long as the device has a 1080p screen to start with

Hi,

I have tried to find some resolution answers, but haven't found any regarding my specific requirment.

Before I buy the Iconia W700 I need to know if it is possible to change the resolution on the tab itself.

I think running a tab like this at 1080P will make it hard to use it for work when I am travelling.

Does anyone have the W700, and know if it is possible to change resolution to, for instance 1368X720 or similar?

If not, the tab will not work well for me when travelling.

Thank you for any help.

-Jon

You probably don't want to change the resolution of the screen itself, which will affect photos, videos, and games. Windows has an option to set the size of UI elements (text, icons) to make them more finger-friendly. My W700P-6821 came with it set to 150%, which is the same default as the Microsoft Surface Pro. Other versions (or maybe just earlier versions -- I don't know about other currently-shipping models) had it set to 100%, which many people find too small. There's also a 125% setting for people in the middle.
