I have an Aspire M3100. I turn on power and blue light comes on but it does not boot up.

I got it to book once by turning off/on surge protector, but now it won't boot at all. I moved the power supply cord to different outlet, but no luck. It acts like it wants to boot but blue light comes on in the front and nothing happens. Blue light has flashed also. Anything I can try to get it to come back on?

Does your computer have a motherboard speaker? In other words, did your computer beep when it used to boot? What does it do now?

You can try reseting the BIOS by taking out the CMOS battery (circular battery on the motherboard), then booting up your computer. Make sure the computer is unplugged when interacting with the motherboard!
