I can successfully connect my netbook to my TV using an HDMI cable. I can connect other devices (e.g. tablet) to my HP 22Xi monitor using an HDMI cable. So I know that the HDMI connector works on my netbook and on my monitor.</P><P>&nbsp;</P><P>However, if I attempt to connect my netbook to my monitor using an HDMI cable, no signal is detected by the monitor. In addition, the netbook does not recognise the external display device when connected by HDMI to the monitor (unable to toggle between displays).
