Can the acer Aspire AX3900(64 bit) have a new graphics card installed (Asus-Nvidia Geforce GTX650Ti)

I need to know if it can be urgraded at all before i can actually buy my new graphics card.

Hi pathol,

Unfortunately, the odds of installing a NVIDIA GTX650Ti are majorly against you. Here's why:

Your power supply most likely will not be able to handle the graphics card.
If the power supply somehow withstands the load, the graphics card may not fit inside your case without a "low profile bracket".

If you are into gaming, I would highly suggest moving your hardware to a bigger case and buying a stronger power supply, or simply buying a bigger PC. Mini-tower PCs with flex-atx form factors do not play nice when the time comes to upgrade! Take it from me, as I have an Acer Aspire X3400, which has the same form factor as yours, and it's been a real tough ride upgrading. Hope this answers your question!

) i dont know if its same size like your one, but hope you can find one for ya . Graphic card, you need to buy low profile for example: Radeon HD5450 or NVIDIA GT640 or other one good for you.

Would a GTX560Ti work? What cards will actually work/fit into in my computer and will a

EZCool 400w Super Silent TFX SFF PSU Power Supply (suggested by the message below yours) fix my power problem/work in my computer?

So would the Gt640 would work/fit in my computer and support directx11 (I am upgrading so i can play assassins creed 3 and war of the roses/ any new game i might buy).

I'm just going through the same kind of exercise myself.

One thing to do is try to work out what rating of Power Supply Unit (PSU) you'll need. Graphics cards can increase the overall load substantially and a PSU that's too low can cause system instability and crashes (blue screen of death etc.)

tom85 is right: Any low profile graphics card (like the ones he mentioned) will fit in your PC and should be stable on your PSU. I personally use the EAH5450 from ASUS, and I'm loving it. Don't be disappointed if hardcore games like Assassin's Creed 3 don't work, however, as most low-profile cards were never designed for gaming.
