I would like to first tell you I am sorry to hear that you are frustrated and upset receiving your computer back in this condition. But I would like to advise that with there being a liquid spill or "liquid pollution" ,as you were told, does have the ability to further damage other functions of the device over time. The liquid could have corroded those components and is causing these other symptoms you are describing.

So I sent my laptop to acer under warranty as touchscreen went on it.
Received a bill saying liquid pollution so had to pay near 200 quid. So decided to get it fixed elsewhere. They shipped it back to me and I switched it on to find my mouse touch pad now doesn't work and battery not detected!!!

How does sending your laptop for repairs make them break it more.

What is the complaints procedure. I have tried call centre and best I got is I will receive a call back from the escalations team.

Fuming isn't the word.
