I want a screen replacement

Hi, this laptop is only 2 years old. and yet it has dead pixel. this is really poor from Acer. I would like a screen replacement. The dead pixel is on the left edge, right below middle. it really stands out on bright colors. please do this for me without a cost. I am not under warranty, but I feel this needs to be done.

The laptop is Acer Timeline M5 481 TG

You have two solutions to repair your screen:

1- Original parts for Aspire M5-481TG:

KL.14008.005	LCD PANEL.LED.14".WXGA.LG
LK.14008.014	LCD PANEL.LED.14".WXGA.GL.LF

2- Brand parts for Aspire M5-481TG:

LG, SAMSUNG, TOSHIBA, etc

I guess you mean the original parts (Acer) are in H.D.: Yes of course, resolution 1366x768.

Both panels are LG brand:

KL.14008.005 - LG LP140WH7-TSA2

No! The part, labor and shipment is about 300 USD and perhaps more.

You can contact your Acer support to ask the cost of screen replacement (live chat or e-mail).
