My Acer Aspire V5 CD Drive, is currently not working properly! Does anyone have a solution?

Hi,

My Acer Aspire V5 CD Drive, isn't working correctly. I have inserted several CD, but nothing appears on the "Computer".

The CD's definitely work, because I have tried it on my other PC. If anyone has a solution to this problem, then please reply. Aslo my computers FULL specifications are below:

- 6GB RAM

- Intel Celeron CPU 1007U 1.50GHz

- 64-bit Operating System

- Windows 8.1

Does the cd drive appear on device manager?

Windows key + X

Yes it does appear on the device manager, this is what it looks like:

Let's try one thing, download ImgBurn (it's a CD/DVD writer software):

http://www.imgburn.com/index.php?act=download

Start ImgBurm and copy and paste the log (View/Log) here, you can also try to burn something in a CD/DVD just to test it.
