I was able to fix it already. Mostly through software drivers, Crystal Eye, and juuust enough hummus

So yea. Title is self explanitory. I have this laptop, and the webcam looks terrible. And I really mean TERRIBLE. It looks like i'm looking at a DOOM 2 rendering of myself, and this was a relatively new laptop. My sister has a V3, and the cam is atleast decent, but this the one on this thing.. it's UNHOLY!

I just want to know if it's a software issue, or really a hardware issue. Thanks!

What application are you using with the webcam? Are you using the crystal eye camera application from the Windows store? Can you provide an attachment of what the image looks like, so I can see what the quality looks like? It could be a hardware issue, but it is hard to tell without knowing a little more info.
