tópico Aspire S3 recovery media em Ultra-Thin

I had a hard drive go bad on my aspire S3 (MS2346, Windows 7) so I purchased the recovery media which the store states "Availability of eRecovery media on CDs/DVDs or Thumb Drive is based on your model." You'd think that means that for an S3 they'd send you the thumb-drive but no, instead I got 4 DVD's and I don't have an external DVD drive. My wife opened the package before I got home so now Acer is giving me the no returns/exchanges on open software stonewall. Very frustrating since they clearly misrepresented what they were selling.

Is there anyway to put these disks on an 8 GB thumb drive (I only have one) and successfully recover the OS?

Note: I was able to recover the original HD to working condition but I couldn't make an image due to all the bad sectors.

Thanks.

Hi jafrost!

See here for help on how to do so. Incidental, it might be worth buying an external optical drive - they are pretty cheap at the moment!
