    <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi, I got my Aspire V5-573 and got windows 8,1 on it and my camera just won't work. I tried updating automaticaly the driver from device manager but no succes, says that the driver is up to date but it is a 2006 driver. then searched the internet for my models driver, got one that say HD Webcam but also does not work. Acer does not have a driver at the suport-drivers for my model. Please help! I also installed skype and does not open. it throws me back at the start screen. any suggestions why? thanks a lot. waiting for you answers!&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>I directly installed Windows 8.1 so I don't know if it worked with other versions of Windows. I determine that the camera does not work because when I go to the camera tile in start screen it says that there is a problem with my camera and I should go to manufacture website. A camera driver can't be found anywhere on acer site. That is not right. Also a lot of people that I know have the same problem and after an internet search I found that is a comon problem. A company that big sould take care of this problem when so many people have the same problem and so many negative comments are heard.</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;To make sure I'm understanding, you purchased the unit and then did a retail Windows 8.1 installation on it?&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Why would you not just do the updates in Windows 8 and upgrade to Windows 8.1 from the Windows store?&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
