    <description>&lt;P&gt;hi, thanks.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;i already checked this before.my only options are AcerVCM.exe and VC.exe i tried to change both but still i recieve a notif from skype.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;it says:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;"we want to let you know that your VC.exe will stop working with skype starting in December 2013. Please see our FAQs for more information."&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;i tick the FAQs just to know what is this all about this is what i get:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;"Update:&lt;/STRONG&gt;&amp;nbsp;You may have recently noticed a message in Skype regarding the 3rd party application you use with Skype will stop working in December 2013.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;As communicated in this&amp;nbsp;&lt;A target="_blank" href="http://blogs.skype.com/2013/11/06/feature-evolution-and-support-for-the-skype-desktop-api/"&gt;blog post&lt;/A&gt;, due to technology improvements we are making to the Skype experience, some features of the API will stop working with Skype for desktop. For example, delivery of chat messages using the API will cease to work.       <description>&lt;P&gt;hi im just new here and i have a problem. everytime i login to my skype theres a notification pop up about vc.exe will stop working with skype starting december 2013. i dont know if im the only acer user recieving this message. it says that the API will stop to work thus i cant use my skype on my notebook starting this december (Aspire One D270)&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;is there anyone who can help me fix this. i tried to contact acer HK but unfortunately no one knows how to speak english &lt;img class="emoticon emoticon-smileysad" id="smileysad" src="http://acer.i.lithium.com/i/smilies/16x16_smiley-sad.png" alt=":smileysad:" title="Smiley triste" /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;thanks&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;May I know some information as below,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;1) has it been installed " Acer Voice Connection Manager" in your Laptop?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;If So please stop the Voice manager service (If dificult I can help ) and try to connect Skype&lt;/P&gt;</description>
