open http://support.acer.com and select the eRecovery tab. You will need to enter your SNID which should be on the bottom of the device. If not the serial number should be in the BIOS setup.

Why doesn't Acer sell or provide Recovery CDs for its products? I bought my Acer Aspire One netbook secondhand and there was no warranty. I have been unable to use my beloved netbook for over two years now, because I can't get hold of recovery solutions in the form of a download or a CD or USB flash drive. The eRecovery link only refers to those customers whose machines are in warranty, which is very annoying.
