I convinced my neighbor to buy an Acer V5-551-8401 Notebook PC, and was heelping them setup and verify that the machine was in working order. To my dis-belief while watching your web tutorial on the atrocious Windows 8 GUI, my heart sank to the floor thinking the **bleep** speakers did not work! I verified that the speakers were indeed working by going direct to a Youtube video.

Please don't do this to your customers! Windows 8 is a shock in itself, but whoever puts your 'tutorial' videos together should have them critiqued by others in your team and assume that the user is probably new to your product and Windows 8 -- having a Youtube video playback with no sound is an alarm bell to the user!

The only drawback to this nice machine, so far, was this misleading tutorial making the user think that their speakers were not work. You can do better!

Regards, -swedepi

The Windows 8 Tutorial video's were not designed to have sound. They are quick video's that highlight the new functions and features within Windows 8.

We have dozens of video's covering specific Windows 8 issues in our knowledge base. Please refer to the bottom of this KB Article to help you find the appropriate site.
