Serial Number for lost laptop

My wife's Acer laptop was stolen last week during a trip to Boston to visit our son who had just had face surgery. In order to file a claim with the airline, we need a serial #. Unfortunatley, our record keeping was not good and we can't locate the serial # anywhere. In order to post a question or use online chat on the Acer website I also need the serial #.

I'm hoping that posting this comment will get the attention of Support at ACer and they can look up my account and send me the serial number for the stolen laptop to us at this email -- Lou@LVhomeExpert.com Laptop would be registered under the last name Bottitta in Allentown, PA. Thanks

Hi,

Just wanted to let you know, I too have had a acer laptop stolen (rather the fixer returned it to the wrong person). Anyway, I have a suggestion - if you still have the original box that it came in, it should have the serial number on it. Mine did.
