aspire v3 571g win8 wireless problem

Hello,
I downloaded the newest driver from this website Atheros Wireless LAN Driver 10.0.0.225 and every 5 mins i get disconnect, limited connectivit, or it is connected but my internet doesn't work. I read lots of topics about this problem, but that was old topics, maybe there is new drivers for windows 8 ? or what else i can do?

Hi Bear_

Atheros Wireless LAN Driver 10.0.0.225 is the newest release. Bios version 2.15 is also important to have updated.

The Atheros wireless card is a dual purpose Bluetooth & Wireless combo card. Chipset/model wb222.

Using google and searching for atheros wb222 driver I came across : http://drivers.softpedia.com/dyn-postdownload.php?p=197572&t=0&i=1

Maybe worth downloading (scanning with a virus scanner) and installing to see the outcome ? I have had much success using this site for unofficial and different drivers.

Well, thanks for trying to help, i updated my bios from 2.14 to 2.15. also i tried download these drivers but they were for realtek drivers. so i could not install. I'm trying now with new bios to install these atheros drivers from acer website. I hope it will help

I noticed the name realtek in there also but they do list as suitable drivers for the wb222.

OK, after few hours I can say it's easier to enjoy internet. Well my internet is always connected now except sometimes it doesn't work but it's about for 10-60 sec. Thank you so much
